Hello, how can I find out when the consulate received or if the consulate received our file?? I’m going crazy
Ambularanne on 2018-09-28 said:
You should receive an e-mail every step of the way. Once the USCIS office processed it and sent it to the national visa center, the national visa center will send it to the consulate in Casablanca. I received an e-mail notification each step of the way. We are almost reaching our year mark and are still in the process.

Its been 8 weeks since the NVC said they were transferring it to the consulate and I haven’t heard anything since then. When I look at peoples timelines it shows a very ahort period of time from when nvc sent to when consulate recieved

Yes, that does seem like a long time. Are you able to call the national visa center? maybe they can see if the consulate has received it? The Moroccan consulate does take their time though....we were put into administrative processing June 29th and we are still waiting to hear. They don't answer e-mails either.

What’s administrative processing?
Ambularanne on 2018-09-28 said:
My fiance had his interview on June 28th and they denied his visa but didn't tell us why. They put our petition into administrative processing meaning they wanted to take a closer look or a second look into our petition and into my fiance. The say it usually takes about 60 days but we are at 90 days......I've learned a lot about patience on this fiance visa journey. Although 8 weeks seems like a long time for the consulate. Are you sure you haven't received an e-mail?

Yes im sure, I called the NVC and they have no info. They said once it leaves them I have to contact the embassy. I m sorry they denied you guys

UGH so frustrating. I wish the consulate would realize these are our lives...will be a year on Oct. 18th that we received our first notice.

I was looking at your timeline and You didn’t show your packet three send or receive Dates, any reason why you don’t post those? You guys applied one month before we did and we haven’t received any notice since it left NVC

I don't know what those dates are...we didn't have packets going back and forth. After we were notified from the National Visa Center that they had approved and sent to Casablanca, then I (as petitioner) received an e-mail from the consulate that they had received our petition. A week later I received another e-mail from the consulate giving us the date and time of his interview....you applied only a month after us and are still waiting for an interview? I would try and call the consulate in Morocco... although they prefer e-mail they never respond to it. I was just in Morocco last month, I wish I would have stopped by the consulate.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
