Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : March 20, 2018
Embassy Review : My fiancé had her interview today and we were approved!! Advice to all:
1. They book more than one couple for the time slots, so ensure you get there early to stand in line, at the head of this line for your applicable time slot. Her interview was at 1pm, but there were 20 people with the same, but because she got there an hour before, she was at the front of that 1pm line of people. So get there early.
2. She had all her packages squared away; we had 3 folders: Folder 1 contained all required documents for your interview that was listed in your Packet 3 letter/email received from the consulate; folder 2 all the evidence of our relationship since our first package submission and folder 3 was our original package, just in case.
3. Consulate complimented her on how well her package was put together and that is what they like to see and don't very often, they liked that
4. She was asked 3 questions; where we met, when was the first trip to see me and when we last saw each other; but she was prepared to answer more
5. Everyone was nice and assisting to her and the boys, no complaints for sure, other than the line was long. They can only let in so many people at a time, so come prepared with an umbrella for weather hot or rainy.
Thank you for our approval, we look forward to our life journey together!!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
