Interview was originally scheduled for 5/2/19, we asked for a reschedule.
Pretty standard interview, just ask some basic questions and reviewed the questions on the I-485 form. |

Embassy Review : |
Interviewer was professional, swore us in and asked each of us some basic questions, then asked for our “proof of marriage†documents and review them. He said it was good that the photos I submitted all had notable travel backgrounds, Lake Tahoe, Disney, Yosemite, Chicago, Seattle, Napa, etc.
Then he went on to review the aos with my wife basically reviewing all answers especially the 10 thousand have you ever questions. He then has her sign her application and told us there are a few more security check but if they come out file she should have a green card in 4-6 weeks.
Reviewing our status it is now “On May 28, 2019, we ordered your new card†so assuming it’s all approved and we’ll get her card shortly. |

Timeline Comments: 2Hi, we will also be having our interview at the Sacramento office. I was wondering if you remember when your status changed to "ready to schedule an interview" and when they actually scheduled your interview. Also, how many weeks before the interview did they send you your interview date? Thanks very much!
11/17/18 waiting for interview
3/28/19 scheduled interview for 5/2/19
4/8/19 reschedule request approved
5/13/18 received notice for new interview 5/28/19
5/28/19 interview
5/28/19 status updates to “On May 28, 2019, we ordered your new card†assuming this means an approval, as why would you get a green card if it wasn’t approved
Hope that helps!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
