After the interview, the CO gave me a white slip with a conditional approval remarks. I was completely puzzled about why there’s such a thing as “conditional†then after 5h, my CEAC status changed from Ready to AP to Issued. |

Embassy Review : |
Had my interview last Thursday (26/7/18) and to my surprise, my passport is ready for pickup next day (27/7/18). It took them just 5 hours from the interview to change the status in CEAC from “Ready†to “Application Received†to “Administrative processing†then “Issuedâ€. This has been the fastest part of my entire k1 journey and I totally didn’t expect it.
The flow was just the same as other embassies. But here are some points I have observed based on my experience:
1. She was very particular with my i134. She looked into each page. I can’t confirm if she was trying to determine if it has a wet signature (my i134 did have the wet signature). Thankfully I brought the original itr and w2 to support it.
2. She requested for a proof of ongoing relationship from day 1.

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
