My interview at LA office went pretty well. Checked in at 10:00 am, got interviewed at 11:30am, was assigned to An officer which was very accomodating and nice. While waiting for me and my husband's turn we we're so freaking nervous. The moment we were called we went straight to the room and were told to remain standing for the oath taking. The officer ask if we have other evidences we want to submit, so i handed her everything organizely and she was so surprised about it.She loved how i made everything neat and organized, while she was doing the paperworks on the computer ,the interview went. she asked my husband when and how we met, when was our first meeting, when was the moment he said to himself that I'm the right one. Then she asked me if my parents was able to attend the wedding then she advised to just have our wedding in the philippines too for my family. Then after that, she went through the I-485 application form i submitted. Then conversations went through about her experiences with other applicants too. Everything went smoothly with us. Then she handed me the approval notice and explained everything about it. She was happy for us, and us too. She asked if we have any other questions, and i aksed her if i can travel with my green card she said absolutely go wherever you want, just not to forget to bring it with me. Then she she said we can have our lunch. Hehehe. Then we ask her if she's gonna have her lunch too, she replied that she still got 3 more interviews. Then after that she escorted as to the exit door said our great goodbyes.
We got out the building at exactly 12:00pm exactly the time I recieved a text message that my card is being produced.
Everything went smoothly. She was multi tasking when we had our interview. It was also like a normal conversation with a friend sharing our love story. Got out the building very happy. From a nerve wracking waiting to a a burst of joy. Finally I'm GREENED. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
