Event Description

Embassy Review : We just had our interview today and our visas was approved( IR1 & IR2).

Questions asked

How did I meet my husband?

What year?

What does my husband do in the us?

How long has he been at his present job?

When did he travel to the us

How did he travel to the us( she wanted to know the kind of visa he went it). told her he was born in the us.

Asks if my son is our only child

And then she said your visas has been approved, gave me the slip and explained how to pick up our passports and pay the green card fee. She explained that my son won't be getting a green card because he would be getting automatic citizenship upon admission into the us so that we wont pay green card fee for him.
She was so so nice and playing/chatting with my son....

She didn't ask me for any document or pics or chat/calls.

The interview only lasted about 5mins. This was the easiest part of the whole process for us.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
