The interview at the embassy went well, it's a piece of cake comparing to the rest. However, the following day the embassy called me to inform me that they didn't have my passport... So, when I went to the first window where I gave all the requested documents, the lady gave me back my passport. Then, I was called to another window where the man asked me a few simple questions but never asked for my passport. I was back to Paris a few days later so I gave them the passport (2018-04-10) but they waited until the newt K1 interview (04/18) to do my passport, so I received it only on April 25th, even if I paid for the fast delivery option. I'm really disappointed on that side. |

They didn't ask me any specific questions besides when the wedding will be. He moved me to another window with an officer who was in charge of special cases I guess. This officer only asked me the name of my fiancé, checked some things on his computer, had a quick look at my papers from the sealed envelop and that was it! |

Regarding Visajourney's estimation time and other people's timeline, I expected to receive my EAD beginning of October, so after 5 months, but it actually took 4 months! I received a notification on the USCIS app on the 11th at the end of the day saying that my card has been mailed, I tracked it on USPS, it was supposed to arrive by the 13th and actually arrived the 12th at noon! |

Since I didn't send the papers for the AP at the same time as the EAD, I got a paper with my picture on it and a case for a stamp, so I'll need this paper when I'll travel abroad. I didn't get a combined card EAD/AP |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
