Brief summary of our experience at the US Consulate in Ciudad, Juarez,
Because the whole process can be nerve wrecking, I want to share my experience.
Day 1- October 9th, 2017
MEDICAL EXAM, we choose ClÃnica Médica Internacional, appointment at 7 am
Requirements:
-letter sent by the US Consulate or via mail in some cases
-passport
- Optional; Inmunization records (We decided he shoud get them, because we´ll need them for the AOS )
This takes place at their main building, where they perform a visual exam and collect a urine sample
After that my fiance was sent to a building across the Street, to take his chest X-rays, and vaccines). This process lasts arround 2 hours, you can pay with a USA credit card the but you will be charged in pesos, we paid approximately $8,000 pesos. Or they also take cash payments ($220 usd plus tax and $215 usd for vaccines)
You have to pick-up the results at 2:30 pm, (waiting time around 30 minutes)
Day 2.- October 10 th 2017:
ASC for Biometrics, appointment was at 7:00 am, we got there around 6:50 am, they let him in right away(not me ), he was out by 7:10 am
Requirements :
- letter or email sent by US Consulate
- DS-160 (printed)
- passport
Day 3.- October 11th, 2017:
INTERVIEW DAY!, our appointment was at 9:15 am, but we got there at 8 am, (they only let him in)
REQUIREMENTS AT THE FIRST WINDOW:
-Passport
-DS 160
-Letter or Email sent by the US Consulate
- I-34 Affidavit Support
- 2016 Taxes (I’m self-employed)
- His Birth certificate (Original and a copy)
Questions:
What type of Visa are you applying for ?
What’s the petioner’s name?
Where does she live?
Where does she work?
When did you meet?
You are approved !
He was out by 10 am
Everything is at a walking distance, we stayed at Quality Inn, great hotel.

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
