Comments : A number of issues with my case. The consulate firstly got my birthday wrong, then near my interview they call me to tell me an error in the system meant I needed an emergency appointment change only 2 weeks before my flights.

My VISA was approved and arrived in the mail the evening before my flight.

Comments : I sent an old form without a barcode, a very silly mistake. All that happened was it was sent back with an RFE notice with no explanation of what was wrong. After a brief panic I realised what was wrong, printed off the correct version of the I-485 and mailed it back with the same evidence documents.

I also had no interview.

Processing time was estimated to be 28 months. I don't know why mine was fast tracked, my evidence was very well organized and I didn't send huge amounts of paper, very small packet.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
