Apart from the long line in Los Angeles International Airport while disembarking, everything else was smooth.
I was in line for 40 minutes but spent only 5 minutes with the officer! |

South Africa US Consulate is not a tough embassy to go through... Its not worth stressing on, if you are real and just go into the interview and be real; it will feel like a conversation throughout!

Timeline Comments: 6Kindly explain to me how is it possible for you to apply for US citizenship without
removal of the condition attached to the 2 year conditional green card you were initially granted? Furthermore, How are you able to apply for the said citizenship without completing the mandatory 3 years of legal residency in the US. I'm puzzled how this works...
Hi, I am a member of the United States Army. I applied based on my my military service not my conditional GreenCard
Thank you, Kemm 360
I appreciate your reply
And hey.... Congratulations!
If you are applying for citizenship based on military service, you do not have to remove any condition or whatever, the only thing that is needed is for you to be a lawful permanent residence which you will have to be before you are allowed to join the military anyway.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
