We didn't know when we got approved b/c we rec'd the card before there was an update on USCIS. So, we're "assuming" we got approved the same say as the EAD: 12/10 |

We received a notice that new Biometrics was not needed. In total it took 2 years 1 month to get to the interview phase, mostly due to COVID. His initial interview was June 4, but because of a tropical storm the office was closed. 2 weeks later he got a notice for a rescheduled interview on July 14. |

Well we got there on time for the interview, it was at 1pm, but Ricardo didn't get interviewed until about 2:45. The interview is not in a separate room, it's at a window (kind of like how you buy movie tickets), and the interview is in Spanish. Ricardo tried to say a few words in english to see if the interviewer would change but she kept doing it in Spanish. Anyways they asked him very detailed questions on how we met, how old we were when we met, and things like where i go to school where do I live and since my mom is a co-sponsor they asked him questions about her too. The interview was about 20 minutes tops but they asked him one question after another, I'm so proud of him for remembering everything! Since he didn't have his Record Policivo and Carta de Solteria ready (Panama is very slow in getting these documents) they told him to come back with those documents and his passport. So all in all if you have all your documents ready, and you can answer the questions you're in good shape. Also, I was there with him at the interview....they didn't even look at me, they just asked him the questions... |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
