Interview Date I was kind of nervous, But I study a lot, and I pass all of my questions which were very easy. Then I wait 2 months for my Oath ceremony, I thought I wasn't going to get one before the year ends (2016) so I call the Person who interview me, which gives me his phone number, because He like me in a "friendly" way I guess, so I call him and Told him that I need to get an oath soon, I was looking online because where do I live mn and nd you can take your oath in both and he suggest to do it in nd Because he was going to be the person doing it, but I will have to wait until April and I was like NOO WAY, please help me to do it in Mn and I explain why I need it fast because I was a little bit sick which I was and I needed to go back to Colombia to get treatment and also for visiting my Bf in Colombia and I was apart from him for 2 months, Either case at the time of the interview with him I told him I was Colombian, I was in a treatment in Colombia and he ask me a lot about Colombia, and that he likes soccer, and yeah WE KIND OF TALK LIKE WE WERE FRIENDS LOL so he told me I will try to put you for december and I was really? and He said: Yeah I will see What can I do.... so he makes everything possible and make it happened... I receive my Letter for the Oath ceremony and when to the ceremony with my mother and my mom's boyfriend and that's how I became a Us Citizen. Next day I did my application to get my passport, and pay expedited mail, Because I brought airplane Tickets to fly to Colombia the 25th of December of 2016 to be with my boyfriend. And I was kind of nervous because I only got less than 10 days to receive my passport but I receive it before flying lol, If not i would loss my money. Thanks to the universe. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
