Event Description
Review Date : March 29, 2018
Embassy Review : My interview was yesterday 28th of March at 7am. Arrived at the embassy at about 5.30am (better early than stuck in Lagos traffic). Went through the regular checks and was moved into the interview center. We were given numbers and when you number gets called you submit your passport, medical report, police certificate, affidavit of support, tax returns (photocopy), birth certificate (photocopy). After about 30 mins I was called for finger printing.

I was interviewed at about 11.15am and was asked a few questions. The actual interview did not last more than 2-3mins. Questions asked were;

Where did you meet your Fiance?
When did you actually start dating?
Was there a proposal?
Did he get down on his knees or was there a formal dinner?
Where does he work?
What state does he live in?
What are your plans for when you arrive the US? (At this point I thought he was asking about the wedding plans and I started responding based on my thought. He cut me short here and said he had granted the visa already he just wanted to know my personal plans when I arrive in the US).

Very swift interview but be prepared for the very longgggg wait before you actually get interviewed.

Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
