Event Description
Review Date : December 3, 2007
Embassy Review : The interview went very smooth and well. It only took us about 20 minutes before the officer told us that we would be getting the green card by mail in 2 weeks time.
The only comment he made was that we didn't show enough evidence of us being together, since we only brought our wedding pictures and health insurance statement. But then I told him that how would it be possible for me to get any bank accounts since I don't even have my EAD and SSN, thus it limits my capability to do so much.
I asked him if he knows what's going on with my EAD, since it's been 6 months that I've applied. He wasn't able to answer, instead, he told me just to ignore the card, since I'll be getting a GC after all! Oh yeah, it's easy to say when you are not the one who's paying $180 for the EAD
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
