Embassy Review : |
Interview was scheduled at 8 am on October 17th.
Arrived at 7:15, was the first in the line. They started to let us in about 7:45.
And by 8.30 I've finished.
At first very pleasant and nice woman took my fingerprints and all necessary supporting documents. No specific questions except for did I ever changed my last name, do I have children, was I married.
Afterwards about 15 minutes of waiting for an interview itself.
Interview with consul took about 5 minutes, 5 quick questions and done.
I was asked how and when we've met, when we saw each other last time and couple of questions about my brother cause he lives in USA.
Very nice and pleasant embassy workers. Appreciate their attitude specially taking into account the pressure applicants are going through.

Embassy Review : |
POE itself was not so bad not taking into account the thing that embassy forgot to put into that precious never open envelope affidavit of support and returned it to me after the interview.
So I had to explain how come it happened like this. They took me off to the separate room which was scary enough and took about an hour to settle things out. It made me feel nervous and worried a bit. Good thing is that I took all docs I prepared for an interview with me and was able to give them affidavit. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
