Arrive at 5.30 am, my appointment was at 8.00 am, to get in line to be on time. We waited and at 7.00 am they gave a talk with indications about the artifacts that should not enter the embassy, and the requirements that we should bring passport and The DS 160 sheet. We go to a first station where they verify that today is your appointment, for the K1 visas, got a pink ticket and they asked for a photo. Then they indicated that we should wait a bit where they attend the immigrant visa process. It was pretty fast, we took A number and waited a few minutes, first a Venezuelan Officer asks us for birth certificate, criminal record, divorce judgment of my fiancé and my medical examinations, payment of consular fee. Then asks me how I met my boyfriend and When and how many times we have seen each other, what profession I have, are my boyfriend and I divorced, where have we seen each other and the evidence of our relationship, video conversations, emails, photos, copies of air tickets, then tells us that we must Wait a few minutes. Next we talk to the American official who serves us very kindly and asks me to tell him about our relationship when it began, how many times we have seen each other and where, which places, where he asked me to marry him and how did my boyfriend proposed , while checking something in his computer, he asks my daughter how my boyfriend treats her and if she speaks English. He tells me that he checked everything and that everything is good and that our visa was approved!!! Congratulated me and my boyfriend and we want to be very happy we are very grateful for the good treatment and efficiency of all at the American Embassy in Caracas Venezuela
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
