My interview was at 8:45 am. I arrived at 7:40 and went to stand in the line but police man asked me to go inside as my interview is at 8:45 am. Then I had to
Go through my first checking. They asked if i had any phone or other device with me. I said no. Then they asked me to go inside.
Now I had go through another checking. After that a bengali guy asked us to grab all of my original papers including Marriage certificate, police certificate, birth certificate and nikanama.
Then at 8:00 am I was called at the first door, a Bengali woman asked for my passport and all the original papers. Then they took my biometric. After that they gave me that account open form for the passport pickup. And said they will call me twice for the oath and the final interview. Then a white man called me to the gate 11 at 8:30. Did the oath and returned to my seat.
At last my final interview was at 9:10. The white lady was so nice. She asked me if my marriage is love or arrranged. Then how did we meet. As I got married in the USA. She said she has to cancel my tourist visa if I have any problem. I said no. Then she had a small chitchat about our wedding and laughed a bit after watching mu wedding photos. The she said congratulations your visa is approved. They will return my passport in 10-14 business days. Yayyyy :D |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
