Comments : 8/6/2017: Set an infopass appointment.

8/8/2017: I-551 Stamp - one year. They looked at my GC and letter of extension. They got my certified copy of marriage certificate.

8/26/2017: Received an email : "There are no updates at this time. We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time. We will notify you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on August 12, 2017."

10/11/17: Thanks to visajourney because I read here that whenever the I751 is not yet approved, the N400 sched interview will have the I751 interview too. The IO just asked our name, ss#, address, bday, how and when we met. IO asked for the original copy of the birth certificate of my husband then he stamped the photocopy. He said I passed the I751 and requested husband to go to the waiting area so that he will interview me for my N400.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
12/08/2017 - We arrived at convention center around 7:30am. The USCIS started around 8:30am collecting the greencard, oath letter, and asking the questions based on the 2nd page. An envelope of forms, pamphlet, US history booklet, and seat number were provided.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
The oath ceremony started at 10am. The SSA, Post office, and Vote personnel provided and collected the forms.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
The venue is beautiful and well decorated. Someone announced to go to SSA first while waiting for the Oath ceremony so most of the people hurried to line to SSA booth then announced again that SSA will accept the forms only after the ceremony. There were 200 participants. The seating arrangement that was assigned was rearranged like those who got the first seat became on the middle or last. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
The judge was friendly and encouraged to take pictures. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
The event finished around 1pm.

Thank God I survived.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
