Comments : We got to the building at around 8, went through security. Interview happen on the second floor, room 205. First thing is to check in at the front counter. They will stamp your interview appointment letter. Then you put your letter into the box in front of the interview area and wait. They will call your name when it s time for your interview.
The lady who interviewed us was really sweet. She explained the whole process before starting the interview. Since i am pregnant, she also told me to ask if i need to stretch my leg (or maybe if the baby arrrive LOL). Question was straight forward, basically she asked me about all the information in my I 485 all over again, starting with my name, age, my parents info, my husband info and even my previous employment history. So make sure you read up your I 485 for all the info again before you go into interview.
We got out around 9:30 smt.
NOTE :
- You CANNOT change your name at the interview. Whatever your name is on the I 485 is going to be printed on your Green card.
- You CAN change your name later when you file for toyr citizenship in 3 years. This name will be on your US passport.
If you have further questions about the interview, I would be happy to help. Just shoot me a DM.

Embassy Review : I arriver at 7:35AM, my appointment is at 8:05. Got my number at 8:10. only the waiting time was long. They only asked me 01 question. " Please raise your right hand. Do you swear to tell only the truth today ? " "Yes" - " Congratulations, your visa is approved. Welcome to America"
Left the place at 10:40AM.
The whole process was nice and easy, all the greeter and the officer was nice and always smile.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
