Embassy Review : |
We had a really good interview! We arrived in the city about an hour early, because parking was such a hassle last time, and we were in room 501 waiting, at 10:00. Our interview was scheduled on June 21st for 10:30 but we got in 15 minutes later. The interviewer was a nice guy, he went through the questions i'd already answered on the AOS form and mainly asked us about how and when we met, how many times we both traveled and when & where we got married. He kept all the documents i brought in as proof of joint assets (bank, rental agreement, gym membership, credit card) & he also took my medical copy, as the file was missing it for some reason. He also asked us about what we've done together lately and our plans for the future. It was really easy, we spoke freely and were out of there in about 30 minutes. He gave me a paper that said he can't make a decision yet and let me know it's standard procedure and he might request other docs if my file is missing any others. I checked online the next day and the status changed to card production!

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
