Consulate Review: Mumbai, India Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa Event Description Review Date : May 3, 2018 Embassy Review : *My wife's interview experience* She waited outside until they signaled 7:30 appt ppl to come ( around 7:10 ) Once inside Indian personnel came and asked to arrange documents DS-260 confirmation Passport Birth certificate Marriage certificate Police Clearance certificate Medical envelope Next she went to first window where Indian lady took her documents , Gave her back lot of the documents that was sent to USCIS and NVC , She asked few generic questions Who's calling you What's your husband do My wife requested gujurati language for interview She got token # My wife said for gujurati interview language they had to wait long time , only 2-5 windows were open at a single time She waited around 3 hours and was called around 11:30 American lady officer took her interview and only asked 4 or 5 questions Who Is calling you ? Husband Was it arranged marriage ? Yes How did you guys meet ? Through mutual friend How does your husband know this friend ? Business partner What does your husband do ? Answered *** *Congratulation your. Visa is approved* *** 😊😁 She requested same day pick up but said won't be ready today It'll be ready tomorrow Rating : Good
