Embassy Review : |
We came at the embassy at 7am. Appointment time is 8am. 7:30am embassy guard started directing applicants to the window to show your appointment letter, passport, and ds 160 confirmation page.
Then she went inside and i waited outside. She told me she went inside and somebody collected her documents such as police clearance, medical, affidavit of support then on to finger printing.
She then went to a room and the male consular officer was there. She was asked 3 questions: what do you do?, how long have you been in UAE?, and how did you meet your fiance? She answered all the questions appropriately then CO said ok you are approved, congratulations! You can pick up your passport and visa at empost in 2-3 days.
The consul did not even ask for any additional proof of bonafide relationship like recent whatsapp messages, skype, pics, etc.. I was surprised because all they had was the stuff I sent with the original k1 application. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
