The line at Logan was around 1 hour where I had my Envelope, Passport and Customs card ready. After this time I stepped upto the booth and handed all over to the CBP officer. He opened the documents took out what he required, signed and stamped my passport and I was on my way. No questions were asked at all upon arriving.
Quick, efficent and courteous service. |

Professional courteous service at the Boston Field Office. Interviewed together for the Green Card. The officer was lovely and made comfortable conversation with us both. During the interview we supplied fingerprints, verifications of documents/photos and suppling any joint evidence together. |

Embassy Review : |
I arrived at the US Embassy London at 9:30am, my appointment was scheduled for 10am.
The lady at the blue tent was very kind and fast tracked me as I have immigrant intent. She signed me in and allowed me to join a shorter security line.
After the security booth (airport style) it was a quick walk up the side and in the building to hand the DS-160 document over and I was issued a sticky number (I-902), within seconds of me stepping foot in the waiting room I was called the first window via the large display on the back wall.
The kind male CO collected and checked all my documents he wished to see, and confirmed a few basic question - name, any other countries resided, intent date of marriage and arrival date.
Within 2 minutes of finishing at window 1, my number got called again, so I walked over to the next window and was greeted by another American male.
He prompted me to take an Oath before asking me any further questions. Once done, he asked for both my left and right hand fingerprints to verify and begun asking be basic questions about our relationship.
How we met?
What was her employment name and title?
When are you planning on getting married?
How have you kept in touch with each other since?
Once that was complete he typed up a few parts on to his computer and handed me back all documents except the passport which he kept and told me that the visa was approved and that I'll received my passport back within 10-14 days. I wished him a good day and exited the embassy.
The experience was very pleasant, the staff polite, friendly and gave courtesy. I was in and out of the Embassy within 15 minutes of arriving in the building. |

Timeline Comments: 3Congratulations on your N-400 approval. Can you please share how long did you waited after the interview to get oath scheduled?
Sunj on 2022-01-08 said: Thanks so much! It was just shy of a month between the interview approval (8th Dec) and the oath ceremony being scheduled (12 Jan), not too bad considering the holiday period. If you are lucky they are doing same day oath ceremonies at the USCIS office, however I was interviewed too late in the day and therefore had to be scheduled for a ceremony. Best of luck with your journey, let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks for the reply! My N400 was approved toward the end of December but I wasn’t offered the same day oath as my interview was late in the day as well. Was your interview at Boston field office? What date was your oath letter issued?
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
