Event Description
Review Date : October 26, 2017
Embassy Review : details: i'm the usc wife, husband is from a low-fraud, english speaking country adjusting from a vwp overstay, married <2 years. appt set for 8:30, we were done and leaving the parking lot at 9:30

our interviewer was so kind that even though we might get hit with an rfe (we are young w no huge assets, live with my parents w no formal lease or bills) i am insanely happy and relieved. it was a casual conversation more than anything else. he directed questions to both of us individually but had no problem when we spoke out of turn and answered together. husband was nervous and did get tripped up with the way he worded some questions but nothing major. he did not question us on anything beyond information on the 130/485 but of course did ask my husband to explain our 'story' <3 we answered everything with plenty of room for conversation along the way.. even during the super serious 485 questions!

no decision at this time which isn't abnormal even with a ton of joint evidence so i'm not disappointed about that. but our interviewer said that he knows with certainty our relationship is genuine which was the most important part for me tbh.. would SO much rather have to procure and send more paperwork in than get hit with a stokes! lol

btw i wrote this review in the afternoon the day of our interview so if you are reading this in the future please check my vj profile to see the timeline of any rfes or decisions as i will be sticking around to keep it updated!! good luck to you and yours <3

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
