Consulate Review: London, United Kingdom
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : September 26, 2018
Embassy Review : Filing the K-1 visa thankfully with the help of VisaJourney not too difficult.
We were sent a notice of approval fairly quickly and did not have any RFE's.

The appointment at the Consulate went quickly. Everyone was so nice and friendly.
I had the medical and blood work done (have to say the woman there was an absolute export at this she was done even before i looked/ She was staring at me saying you're all done. I've never experienced anything like it. People were crying etc when they went in and were stunned they came out 1 minute later all done and they even wondered if she took any blood.

I waited a little and my name was called and I answered a few simple questions about my form and intent to go to USA.
Everything was okay and I had the K-1 visa stuck in my passport.
Was over and done in less than 2 hours.
Rating : Very Good

I can't edit the Embassy review I wanted to clarify - I got my pink slip at the embassy and I think my passport was mailed to me within 7 days with the K-1 stuck in there. I'm writing this years after the fact I thought I got it at the Embassy. I also can't remember if I had the blood work done at the Embassy or not I do remember having to have medcial done and x-rays were taken.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
