Comments : (RFIE) USCIS requested for I-130A form as supplement for the latest I-130 form version. My lawyer was not aware of this new requirement. Notice came on yellow paper. Both my lawyer and I received separate copies.

(Biometric Appointment) The only things I brought inside the facility are the requirements. I left my purse in the car because this location is pretty strict about it. Lady guard checked my documents, my hands if clear for fingerprinting and then gave me a form to complete and sign. After that, I had to show my marriage certificate to the IO in charge due to the nature of my case. Finally, I was told to wait for the fingerprint and photo area. There were only few applicants so my appointment took less than 15 minutes.

(I-130) Received the approval notice by mail addressed to husband on July 17, 2017.

(I-1485) Received the approval notice by mail addresed to me on July 20, 2017. It also served as welcome notice.

Comments : Online application is so much better than paper application. I assisted my husband and my brother during their time and the online is more convenient.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
