Hi guys! Congratulations on receiving an interview date! Have you been able to book your medical yet?

Thank you! Pretty easy and basic interview, but we got approved 😊 just waiting on ceac to update and they said upto two weeks for passports to come back

Congratulations! Very happy for you all! 🥳

Congratulations!! What date was your medical? I assume it reached Embassy quickly as you’re not in AP? Really happy for you guys! 😊
S&J2013 on 2020-07-23 said:
It still says AP (As far as I know everyone’s goes through that stage?!?) but our medical was last Thursday and they confirmed they had received it. They said they had everything they needed and our passports would be back within 2 weeks, and to keep a track on the website as it will update on there

Hi guys! congrats on making it through the process! Could you please let me know if 1) they allow cell phones Into the embassy 2) they asked for your w2s?
S&J2013 on 2020-07-23 said:
Cell phones were allowed, but may be embassy dependent. We just had to show they were working. And no I wasn’t asked to show any tax documents as everything had already been uploaded and accepted on CEAC before the interview

Saw you passed the interview, congratulations! Hope I can get there soon, especially as we both went to Nebraska at roughly the same time, hahaha.

Congratulations! I noticed from your comments that you had your case expedited from NVC to embassy... is there a secret to getting this accomplished?
S&J2013 on 2020-08-10 said:
Not really. We asked once when it was shut. Tried again when things were starting to open again and it got accepted. It really just depends on your reasons and the embassy
blank avatar Bbauer26 on 2020-08-18 said:
Sorry to bother again, but is there a particular form we had to fill out to request an expedited interview for your case?
S&J2013 on 2020-08-18 said:
That’s fine! No you just email NVC and give case number, reasons why you’re requesting and any additional evidence as an attachment

Hello! Congratulations! Did you receive your interview date from the Embassy or did you have to schedule it online? Our case has been expedited and is 'ready' at the embassy - we're not sure what to do next!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
