The interview was incredibly easy. First, they interviewed me. Then they brought my husband in and interviewed him with me in the room. Looked at pictures, looked at some joint mail, and asked him why he wanted to be in the U.S. His answer? "TO be with my wife and child." Approved! |

It took three phone calls and an infopass appointment to get this thing sorted out. A "hold" was placed on it 10-30-2007 and nobody could tell us why. |

My husband went in for an Infopass appointment to figure out why a hold had been put on his EAD. I let him off at the front door while I went and parked across the street. By the time I had gotten out of my car, crossed the street, and walked to the door he was coming back out. It had taken less than ten minutes. The people were very nice, but not that helpful. They couldn't tell him anything. Still, less than a week later, we had notice that the EAD had been ordered so something must have helped. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
