Embassy Review : The whole process was very easy and not stressful. We arrived early. Our appointment was 10:30 but they called for people up until 10:30 at about 9:15. Upon entering the embassy, we had to turn our phones off and take off our jackets. First, an employee at the gate checked us in electronically and checked our key documents (marriage certificates, birth certificates, etc.). Then, we passed through security. Upon entering the embassy, we first had to go to a check in window where they looked at our key documents again and asked my husband: 1. Who was petitioning him, my name, his parents names, and our wedding date. Then, we were given a number and sat to wait for our interview. We waited about 45 mins (there's coffee to buy inside, which is nice).

The interview itself was painless. They asked my husband: 1. who was petitioning him, 2. where I worked, 3. what I do, 4. who I live with, 5. If we have kids together/separately, 5. If he was a member of the Communist party. It was over in 2 mins, and we were able to get his visa the next afternoon.
Rating : Very Good

Embassy Review : We got out of our interview a few hours ago. It was only 10-15 mins and entirely painless. Our interviewer was a younger Asian guy who didn’t speak Spanish but he was fine with me translating a little bit when my husband needed some gaps filled in.
He asked where he went when he was out of the country in May. He had a checklist of docs and asked if we had kids or a house (based on that). He then wanted joint leases, taxes, health insurance, pics, and joint accounts.
He asked me what I did for a living.
He asked my husband both our names, bdays, and current address.
He asked about a pic of me with my mother-in-law and stepdaughter and if we had both gone to Cuba together then.
Then he went off on a tangent about Cuba since he’d watched some Youtuber who went there.
And boom he went to print out the approval letter.
As he was typing he asked how we knew each other and if we would be petitioning for my stepdaughter in the future (I got the impression he was honestly curious).
Case updated to New Card Being Produced 3 hours later.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
