Embassy Review : |
My fiance arrived 15 minutes prior to the appointment and waited for his number to be called. After about 15 minutes, they called his number. They fingerprinted him and asked for the paperwork. He only needed 1 passport picture, the police certificate, birth certificate, appt letter, passport, the I-134 and my tax return. They did not take the letter from my employer stating my wages or my W2 forms. They also gave him a copy of his chest x-ray from the medical.
He waited about 30 more minutes and was called back up for the actual interview. They asked how we met, if he'd been here and i'd been there, and a little about him meeting my family. They told him it was approved and said it would be 5-7 days til he would get the stuff back by courier. He said it was very easy except he had a little trouble understanding the person interviewing him. He was in and out of the embassy in just under an hour. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
