Embassy Review : So yeah after waiting 197 days we finally got an interview. Up until then, everything has been approved, all we needed was this last interview and bam, my fiance could fly to me in the states (I live in Hawaii !!). Well the person that interview my fiance was a total douche bag. He didn't believe nothing she said and was very bad towards her, saying that she should stay in her own country, stuff like that. She provided about 20 pictures of us together, vacations that we took together and copies of both of our passports that we have traveled together. Still he did not approve her K-1 fiance visa. We applied for a visit visa so she can come see me atleast so we can spend some time together, and again this douch bag denied her a visit visa. We had to submit a I-601 and start over again with the waiting game. We completed and was accepted July 2017. Its been almost 200 more days and we are still waiting. There is one particular guy at the skopje embassy that has a reputation of doing this to people. Unfortunately we were a victim of this A-hole and had to pay another $960 to submit the 601. Once we get our approval and she has the next interview, we hope that she does not have to deal with the same officer, who knows what will happen? All we want is peace, love and happiness...is this too much to ask for?? 197 + 200=397 days and still waiting
Rating : Very Poor

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
