Port of Entry : Miami
POE Date : 2018-06-06
Got EAD Stamp :
Biometrics Taken : Yes
Harassment Level : 0

Event Description

Embassy Review : My interview was scheduled at 11:15 and I arrived at the embassy at 11:05. I went trough several checkpoints:
1) Entrance: where they asked for your Passport, DS 160, Medical Exam, Police certificate and Fee receipt. But she gave it back to me, was just to put them in order. Then they checked my bags in order to see if it contains liquids or food.

2) Before entering the embassy, they took my phone and cosmetics, they gave back to my only my papers and my personal bag which was empty.

3You have to wait on a line to see the first officer, he took my pictures, Birth certificate, Police certificate and my 10 digits. He explained to me the next process and about the AOS process. And told me to wait for them to call my name and asked me to go sit down on a open room "downstairs".

4) The second Officer called my name after 30 minutes and asked me to take the oath and two questions : how did you guys met? Have you tried to teach him French? and when are you planning to do the wedding ?. The interview lasted about 3 minutes.
I left the embassy at 12:40 pm, so the process was about 1 hour and 40 minutes javascript:emoticon(''
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
