Event Description
Review Date : June 14, 2017
Embassy Review : Arrived for my 7am appt at Walter Carrington around 6;25am.Was raining heavily.Loads of ppl were already there on a line.Around 7am an announcement was made to separate into 2 lines--immigrant/non immigrant. Was 1st on the immigrant line.Went through security checks and submitted my passport,2 passport photos, birth certificate photocopy, affidavit of support and W2,and police certificate. My number tag was 1 however was 4th to be interviewed. All 3 ppl before me were approved so anxiety wasn't so high.Just 2 COs interviewing;both Caucasian and young and VERY pleasant. Was called by the more pleasant of the two. After my oath, she asked me just two questions: tell me about your fiance and how did you meet.
Visa was approved and issued in 3 days.but picked up a week later due to weekend and public holiday.
Im so thankful to God that this journey is finally over and of course to the members of this forum, for all the advice and answered questions,we are beyond grateful.Had a lot of palpitations as we didn't front load our application--no call log, just 3 pictures and 7 emails from 2014.no recent communication.Went with all that but wasn't asked for it;but wouldn't advise anyone to do that though,as it caused me needless headaches.Best wishes to all on their journey.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
