Event Description
Review Date : August 30, 2017
Embassy Review : Was not at my husband's interview but here is what he told me:

His appointment was at 7am. He arrived around 6:30 and there was two lines.

When entering the building around 7am he sat down and waited for for his name to be called. When called he proceeded to a room where he was instructed how to put in order the papers that were going to be requested. Sat back down and later was called to a window where there was a lady who asked for medical, police certificate, birth certificate, passport photos and proof of relationship. Then was told to have a seat and they would call him for his interview.

Close to being the last one again he was called back by a man who asked him:
When did you meet?
When did you meet in person?
Do you have any children?
Ages?
Was your wife married before?
Have you been in trouble with the police?
When did you enter the USA?

Long long pause while the man typed. Then he said: sorry for your wait and you are approved and can collect your passport in about 10 days. Welcome to the US!!!

He said everyone was polite.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
