Embassy Review : |
my appointment at the american embassy in abu dhabi, uae was last March 19 2007. i went through 3 security checks then i entered the consular building of the embassy. I showed my appointment letter and i was given a number. i waited and exactly i was called as per my appointment time. Then i gave in my documents, as per the packet requirements as well as the proofs of our relationship. then i was asked to sit again. after a while then again was called, the 2nd lady was nice nice and asked me questions about my realtionship with my fiancee as well as his family and mine stuff like that then after 10 mins i was asked to sit again. Nearly an hour i was called again, then it was a different lady, basically 3rd lady, she asked almost the same questions but in a different manner. In general my interview at the American Embassy Abu dhabi UAE went well. the three ladies who was interviewed me was nice and polite. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
