Comments : DS-260 took 13 days to open. NVC claimed that the IV fee was taking long to process due to a system error.
I had to email my AOS and IV packet because I have a prefix of "BGH". Each file had to be separated and titled "Casenumber_firstname_lastname_filename". The ENTIRE email had to be below 5mb. This was a challenge!

We were missing a police report that was for the whole country not just the region my husband was living in. It took a week to get the report which was on the same day as the interview. My husband went to his interview without the report and our case was put into administrative processing. As soon as he left the interview he picked up the report and sent it to the embassy via courier. My husband's visa was issued less than a week later on October 23rd. WOOOOO!!!! The process is over and we are done. Thank God!!!

Event Description

Embassy Review : It took my husband only two hours for the whole interview process to be complete. He said it was fairly easy. They asked him how we met. He shared some of the documents that they hadn't requested from him before and that was that. Pretty simple and friendly experience.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
