Consulate Review: Ghana
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : July 26, 2019
Embassy Review : *My husband left home after 4:30am (Ghana) and was at the embassy within an hour. He was one of the first ones interviewed ,and I received the news by call 6:08am (New York time). He said as soon as he walked up to the desk he felt he had already been approved since his passport was already in the file and during the questions the CO made a statement “ based off of your organized paperwork ,I’m sure your wife has created an account to track your passport “ she said that before even giving the magic words “ YOU’RE APPROVED “. Word of advice is to be confident , straightforward ,look the CO in the eye and provide quality evidence .
The questions listed below as followed :
rsation more than an interview
1.) where do I work ? My husband answered w/ company name and job title.
2.) She pulled the photo where we went to the movies and said how did you like this movie ?
3.) does your wife have any siblings ? My husband answered three and asked the CO did she want the names and the CO declined.
4.) What did we do in Singapore ( Activities )?
5.) Do I know how to speak twi? My husband stated my wife knows a few words like to say I love you, thank you , welcome etc
Then CO then said congrats that will be all today , she gave him a few papers .

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
