Everything went easy and smooth. My inverview was in the morning and it was super easy to get a parking slot. Before getting in, you will have to pass the security checks (make sure not to bring any electronical devices, including phones and smart watches) and it took me like 20-40min to get inside. After that you will go to 2 different windows to get your interview processed. At the last window, you will have your actual interview. They asked me about how I met my fiance and how he proposed. It took around 5min and I got approved. I received my passport and visa 4 days after the visa. Thumbs up!! |

Interview for Adjustment of Status:
My husband and I had the appointment at 11am. We were at the office about 15 min earlier and went upstairs to the waiting area. We waited more than 1 hour. We even asked for if we were forgotten since everybody that came in after us, were long gone already. About 1,5 hours later, our officer called us for the interview. The interview was easy and straightforward. The officer was friendly, but bit intimidating. She put us under oath and asked my husband some questions about me. Some basic questions like my full name, birthday, name of my mother, where I was born. She then asked me all the questions that are on the last pages of the I-485 form: like if I ever convicted a crime, involved in illegal activities etc. After that she told us that everything looks good but she can't make an decision yet. She was still to waiting for my file from USCIS to arrive, until then she can't approve me. As soon as she get's my file, she will make an decision. About 1 month after my interview, we got the letter of approval and some days later my Green Card. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
