Khadija on 2019-04-06 said:Couldn't add dates for my I-129F.. It was filed in 2017 and denied because of not having met first. Did not appeal for that reason only.
Khadija on 2019-07-20 said:Got the I-797 document on 2019-04-05. My application has been approved. Now it goes to the NVC(National Visa Center), for an interview to be set up for my husband. Don't know how long the wait timeframe is. So far it has been 3 months and 15 days so far. I have no idea how much longer we have to wait for the case that was sent to NVC.. If anyone knows.. let me know here..

I don't even know if my petition was even forwarded to NVC at all. My husband is angry with me, thinking I made some sort of mistake with filling out the forms. I have called NVC and got told to send an inquiry email to: nvcresearch@state.gov This I did 2 days ago. I also sent an email to my state representative, Kevin Bacon. I also mailed a snail mail letter to NVC as well to: NVC(National Visa Center); ATTN: WC; 31 Rochester Ave., Suite 200; Portsmouth, NH 03801-2915 Presently.. 10-21-2019, I have received no replies to anything. So, in a nut shell... my husband as well as everyone else.. is not acknowledging me.. I feel alone. Lost.

I find nothing to say that the American Embassy in Addis Ababa is open for immigrating visas. They are doing only nonimmigrant visas. I have been apart from my husband for almost 3 years now. I am now 67. When will they let any Ethiopians immigrate.. smh

NVC does not accept calls from anyone. It's just a recording that answers. I never go a reply to my email that I sent over a month ago. I have not seen my husband in over 3 years now. All I can do is sit in my house alone and cry. My last friend is gone.. no one to talk to. Don't know what to do.

I don’t think it will happen. No one knows anything. Either that or just not saying. I called NVC and the US Embassy in Addis Ababa. Can’t even get how much longer the wait will be. I’m not the only one waiting. There are more than 300,000 documentary qualified people waiting. He doesn’t call me very much anymore. I can’t call him. We use WhatsApp. I don’t think this marriage will last much longer. I’m in limbo. In three months.. will have waited for an interview for a year. Thinking on looking for someone else. I don’t feel married. I only saw him for 14 days. That was about 4 years ago. It’s not fair. I can’t keep living like this.

I want some sort of confirmation that my petition has been withdrawn. Ayoub keeps calling me now. I don't answer him. I want nothing to do with him. 5 years and thousands of dollars lost through my I-129, I-130, all of the forms. I will never send for anyone again. The dating sites are full of men, and women from overseas wanting to come here just for a green card any way they can. They are in it for the long haul. I wish I had known the red flags. There was not enough for me to figure it out, catch on. He slipped up one night. Then, during a huge argument, he sipped up. I called him a scammer. After a long silence... he told me everything. Told me every document was fake. I'm so done.
