Her appointment at U.S. Embassy in Manila was 7:10am today, and she called me from her apartment at 8:30. DONE!! APPROVED! Possibly because she was never married and has no children, she only had about 5 questions from each of 2 interviewers. I will give her a chance to post her experience if she is inclined. |

Embassy Review : |
Our case handler for change of status was same guy who took Sue's biometrics 4 months prior. He glanced at our paperwork, then told us we were not the "kind of people I will be dealing with the rest of the day". So he told us he would ask a couple of routine questions, then send us on our way and we can expect her green card in 3-6 weeks. So NO INTERVIEW!! We thank Mr. Merlach for his friendly and speedy processing. |

Timeline Comments: 1Congratulations! That’s great news! We’ve received notice that ours is ready for scheduling. Got that back in October. Did you ever receive that? Ours is at Texas Service Center as well.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
