The interview went really smooth. Our agent was extremely nice.
We got there in the morning around 8am. They make you stand in a line outside and basically give you the instructions for entering the federal building. Once you go through security they take you to the floor where they handle all the AOS interviews. It’s basically a big room with some cubicles at the front of the room. They call your name, gloss over your book to make sure you all have the proper documents and then make you sit down and wait until your name is called to go through to the back. Our interviewer was really nice! She just basically asked questions about where we live, what I do for a living. He has to answer all of the questions so make sure addresses are remembered! She looked at our pictures and book and just told us to make sure when we do the ROC process to have more pictures of us together with other people because that’s something they look for. |

Embassy Review : |
Got there early, I told him to leave everything at home! So entering the embassy was a smooth process. He waited for at least a hour and half until his name was called. He told me he was nervous because the officer who had interviewed him had denied every single last person who came to her window that morning. Of course, that’s who he gets as his interviewer 🙄. But he handled it well. Questions she asked:
Where does she live?
What does she do?
She then looked through our pictures and asked him how did he realize so quick. He replied, “thats the love of my life and I want to spend the rest of my life with her.†She smiled and told him he was approved ☺ï¸â˜ºï¸
WHEW!!!! |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
