Embassy Review : So I got into the embassy around 20 min before my interview. There was around 3 guards at the entrance and I asked where I was suppose to go to attend my interview. A very nice lady asked for my name and told me to follow the guard to the check and once inside to press the B for Immigrant visa. I went to the embassy with my stuff well organized inside a plastic bag. Once the guard checked everything, he asked me if I needed all what I had in my bag and since I just wanted the documents, he took my bag and asked me to give away my phone (previously closed) and gave me a big yellow tag with a number that I had to give back before I left the embassy to get back my stuff.
Once I got in, there was first a big room with a machine in which you had to grab a number so they could call you to give the papers and for the interview. Next, I walked into another room with chairs and surrounded by windows. I waited around 5 min before a nice lady told me to approach and give the proof of payment, the medical exam, the x ray disk which she stamp and gave me back along with 2 original documents that I provided in the package 3. She was really nice and we talked for a while about how quick i sent back the package 3 and so on. I went back to my sit and after 15 min I was called once more by a really nice guy who asked me to give the oath, finger prints and then the interview began:
- How did you two meet?
- Was he ever married? And you?
- Did he come to you?
- Where is he right now?
- What he does for living?
- Where did he graduate?
- What did you do there? (I was living for some years in another country)
He asked me as well if I had a couple of pictures, so I gave him the ones I had and he looked at them.
Finally the moment came where he typed something and said "Well, I see everything is fine and your visa is approved. Congratulations!". My heart dropped and I wanted to jump and scream of joy haha but before I could do so he told me about what I had to do when I enter the USA and when does my visa expire.

Everyone was really nice and easy to talk to. Really happy with they way they treat everyone and happy to see that they know how nervous we all go there and know how to make us feel a little bit better!

The interview took around 5 min (at max) and from the moment I came into the embassy until I left I would say around 40 min.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
