Received I-797 (Notice of Action) on 2/9/19.
These are the docs that we prepared.
Completed I-864, I-693 (Medical Exam Report - Paid $260)
Applicant (wife): Copy of ... Passport, K1 Visa and Entry Stamp, I-94, driver License, EAD combo card, I-797, birth certificate, divorce certificate.
Petitionor (husband): Passport, birth certificate, driver License, naturalization certificate, employment verification letter, 3 months pay stubs, W2 (last 3 years 2016-2018), tax returns (2015-2017),
For both: photos of wedding, honeymoon, vacation, friend's wedding and family gathering, travel itinerary, proof of address with utility bills and bank statements (joint and individual), grant deed of property, car registration and insurance, 401K (my wife as the beneficiary), medical and dental insurance, property insurance.
Our interview at 1:40PM and we reached the reception at 1:32PM.
A female official called us in at 2pm and she was very pleasant easy to talk to. We were her last case for the day and asked us to declare under oath. She asked my wife if we live together and the current address. Do we have children and if we were married before? How did we meet and when? Met each other parents? Where did she have her vaccinations? Where did we go for honeymoon? Do we want kids?
Wife's SS # and current address.
Official requested and kept these docs: 2017 tax return, joint and individual bank account statements, photos of travel, family and friend, flight itinerary. Utility bills and I-693. We asked her if she wants to keep the I-864 and she said not needed because we submitted one last time. Also she kept the I-797C cover page.
ps. Bring all originals but make copy in case they want to keep some of them. Our USCIS field office is 630 Sansome St, San Francisco, CA. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
