Embassy Review : Went very quickly. Had 7:45am interview so didn't have to wait much. Asked the following questions:

1) Who filed for petition?
2) Are you a member of communist party?
3) When was the last time you saw your Fiancé?
4) Why you didn't marry in China?
5) How old are you? How old is he?
6) How did you meet each other?
7) Is he still your boss?
8) What does your company do?

No questions about relationship or upcoming wedding. Just said good luck and handed approval notice. Most interesting was he didn't ask to see any photos nor did he ask about seeing USA passport to show support. Some people have said this was helpful but had no positive effect in our case. Also didn't care about speaking English or Chinese. Quick and easy.
Rating : Very Good

Embassy Review : Came in on K-1 Visa. The officer motioned over to me. He did not say one word to me. Maybe he didn't think I spoke English. Just opened my package motioned to put my fingers on scanner. And stamped my passport. Even didn't respond to me when I said "Thank you sir".

Customs was much different. Initially wanted to know how long I was going to be in USA. I said I'm here on K-1 visa. Asked what type of work I was doing in China, how much money I was carrying, how did we meet, and where I was going to live.

Embassy Review : AOS for K1. Had it on 6th Floor for LA County in Downtown LA. Security took 20 minutes to get through. You can bring your kindle/cell phone. Waited over 2 hours to be called. Strange was they called us up to a window and asked for our ID (Drivers license and passports). Officer said we would be called soon. 20 minutes later we were called. Didn’t see them do this with anyone else.

The officer had no expression. Swore us in and took fingerprints. Our case file was huge. Asked the following questions:

1) Went through I-485. Asked questions about address, Bday, and money laundering, murder, etc. Checked off each yes/no answer.
2) When did you meet?
3) How long have you been together?
4) Where did you get married?
5) Did you have reception?
6) Where did you get engaged?
7) When was your wedding?
8) Whose idea was it to get married?
9) What is your husbands occupation?
10) Asked for proof of living together. Handed him health insurance and utility bills. He didn’t look at it.
11) Asked for photos. Spent a minute looking at them.

Printed our approval letter and told us when we receive green card we will be asked to return EAD combo card. Took about 25 minutes. Never asked to see any financial information. He did ask if USCIS asked us to do another medical to which we replied no.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
