Comments : May 8 notice by mail, 2017 OMG, so grateful! Case approved to NOA2 without RFE!
June 2 from Welcome from NVC instr.: Prepare NVC-package immigrant + AOS (Affidavit Of Support)
Agent DS-261: Florence in US. She's a Hero! Took till July 28, 2017 almost two months to get our papers complete.
Birth certificates and divorce decrees. We didn't know we would need all originals as sent with I-130 again!
And NVC provides wrong address to order militairy records from. We were waiting on nothing for two weeks. Then found right address.
Next military documents was wrong, they messed up my dob. Restarting the procedure we lost two more weeks.
Though it is stated that documents may be in language where I would have interview... everybody warned to have them translated.
If nobody brakes this habit... We didn't either... so that took an other week. We got notice from NVC to renew police report. And take that to the interview. The interview went very smooth. They took my originals, the official ones (5). They come in the border package, I will get them at poe they said. No books opened! Just showed them 27 new pictures. That was all! I got a flight on December 14, 2017. The airplane from Amsterdam was delayed for three hours because of a snowstorm over Denver. Passing through customs took about an hour before it was my turn. After that all went smooth and I got my visa stamp. They did not ask me for approval of address change from the council office in the NL. Probably they never do. Within three weeks we had my SS# ,health insurance and a checking account from a US bank.

Consulate Review: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : November 15, 2017
Embassy Review : My interview went very smooth. First officer wanted my passport and 5 originals. They had all the other papers. I saw most of the NVC package on his desk. I had two big books with me... They were not opened!
Then he wanted my 2 passport pictures. Fingerprints were taken. Okay, sit down until my colleague calls you. 5 minutes she called me.
The second interview took like 10 minutes. Again fingerprints. The oath. Then some questions. Where I lived at the time? About when we met first and how? Where we met in person and how did it go? How many times my partner was in The Netherlands? The dates of her last visit. Does your partner have any other income except for SS? - Of course that was in her affidavit of support also. - Then she wanted to see any recent pictures. I gave her 27 pictures in a pile with a list of months and places. She ran through those... Then she said, I know enough. We are ready. You will get your package sent next week. At POE I would get the originals back.
I wish everybody an interview like this. So happy we passed this hoop!
The five originals I had to give: BC, MC, Death decree of my first partner. Good Conduct and Military Record.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
