Embassy Review : Everything went well! We arrived for our 9:00 am appt early. Sat in the car until 8:30  and headed in. After going through security, we went to the check in line. The guy gave us a number and told us to wait to be called to the door. By the time we got out of that line, it was about 8:50 and we sat down to wait. By 9:00, we were called by an officer to come to the door and he led us back to his office. He took my husband's picture and fingerprints and then asked some very basic questions (address, my name.) I prepared a file with 100 photos and more docs to prove our marriage, he said he didn't need any of it. He did ask for my husband's birth certificate again though, so we gave him that and he took a copy. He realized our medical expired and said we would need to get that but we were pretty much approved pending that. I called the nearest doctor to us when we got in the car and had an appointment for 1 pm today. We just finished that this afternoon and they said the medical report should be ready by Friday. The officer also wrote on the RFIE for the medical that we were allowed to hand deliver the medical to him -- instead of mailing it in, as he was aware how long we have been waiting for this to happen and didn't want it to be delayed any longer. All in all, a very easy experience. Interview was less than an hour.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
