27.07.2017 - medical examination; MMR and Tdap vaccines recommended since they will be required for AOS yet not enforced at this stage - the doctor noted on the DS-3025: "K1 visa applicant, immunization updated deterred"
01.08.2017 - During the interview I was told by the consul that the issuing of my K1 visa will be postponed until I send in police certificates from Germany and Ireland where I resided before. My Polish police cert was not sufficient. Fortunately they did not want to see a Mexican police certificate even though I had lived in Mexico for six years. |

Everything went super smooth and very fast. There was no line at all. My fiancé and I approached the immigration officer, who was very calm and friendly. I was a bit nervous about not having filled out my custom form neatly enough so to calm me down he said ¨Don't overthink it¨ and smiled. I gave him my K1 envelope. We were asked when we were getting married and we said we had no exact date yet but were aware we had 90 days to do so. I got my fingerprints taken and passport stamped. That was it! It took about 2 minutes all together. Friendly, professional and fast. |

27.07.2018 We arrived at the USCIS ten minutes before our scheduled time and waited about 30 minutes before we got called in. The interview was video recorded, the officer was very friendly. He didn't ask for any additional documents, not even pictures, only asked us some questions about our relationship. Together with my AOS package I filed the I-601 (Application for Waiver of Grounds of Inadmissibility) and was asked to explain why vaccines are against my moral convictions. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
