Comments : Immigration was like a breeze, no questions asked whatsoever. There is only one point to take care of that is, even there is a separate counter for IMMIGRATION but that was not open when I reached & I have to queue in the same line which was meant for NON-US citizens i.e. tourists, business etc. So if you got confused in which line you have to go, just ask .

POE Review: San Francisco
Event Description
Entry Date : 2016-05-25
Embassy Review : F2A Visa POE review.
When I arrived at SF, people were rushing to the immigration counters, and as I have read from the forums earlier that get in line ASAP, so I did the same. I got myself in the line of tourist/ business.... But that was alright as I asked the airport staff for line for new immigrants, he told me that I am standing n a correct line ( Although there was a separate counter for immigrants but it was closed).
There were around 25-30 people before me so it took around 40-50 min for my turn. The officer checked my passport and ask me for fingerprints. Then he asked me about the packet and I showed him the sealed packet. He didn't opened the packed instead he directed me to another counter where all other immigrants were waiting. I handover my packet to the custom officer, he asked me to sit and wait. After another 20 min minutes he called my name and said the golden words "Welcome to America".
In short, the officers were nice and the immigration process went very smooth, a lot more tha what I expected.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
