Had my interview on 22/3/2017, was schedule to 11h45 am
Arrived France the day before, stayed in a friends house, he got me the chronopost envelope. Day after went by train to Paris, got out from train near the embassy, waited in the park until 11h then went in the embassy.
Gone through the first security, they saw my hand bag, my papers and passed a wand on me they were nice to me, then went to a lady near that asked me for my passport, medical exams, my interviem schedule and my criminal report, put all together and sent me in, went through another security, they saw all again, met a portugese security man from north of Portugal, he was really nice to me and sent me in. When i finally was inside of the embassy I saw 2 signs one to citizens and other to visas, gone to the last one and waited on the line for 20 min, alot o persons there on that day. Was called to a desk and the lady, very nice told me if i wanna to speak to a portuguese lady, I said no cause i can speak English or French also, so she asked for my papers, toke my fingerprints and told me to go to a another desk to do the interview, spoke with a gentleman in english also very nice, that asked for my passport, and asked a few questions about my fiance, how we met, if we had met personally, for how long, then asked me if i was married before, if he was, and some things about my papers, gave me some advice, went in then came to me saying that my papers were in order and welcome to America, and that my papers would be in Portugal up to 10 days. Wished me the best and I to him and I left the embassy very happy. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
