Embassy Review : |
Appointment scheduled at 10am, but arrived at 930am. The security officer kind enough to let me in with strict security check. There's actually no actual "time" you have to be there because the queue is based on how many people there are in front of you. Please go early if you want!!!
Timeline
9:30am - queue for security check
9:45am - took queue number and seated
10:15am - number called. First male officer is very polite and professional, he requested for my passport, birth certificate, police clearance, 2xpassport photo, form I-134F and my fiance's divorce decree (all in original form). He informed that all documents are submitted!
10:35am - called to meet second officer(whom will interview me), she asked me general questions about how long and where we met, how we maintain our communication and how often, lastly, did he share how much money he made monthly. Then, she told me visa will be ready within two weeks! Woohooo!!!!
11:00am - walked out of US embassy with a big smile on my face!!
The US embassy in Singapore is really really efficient and professional! Thank you so much! |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
